A Date with Myself

my view
One problem I suffer when I want to write is how to begin with it creatively. Sure topic counts too, and things you woundn't want to miss in your piece. But I say that the best things to be written is what comes to your mind when you're alone, probably daydreaming. For me, they're like jackpot prizes that wouldn't just pop right away the moment you need it the most. But I find them tricky and acts as a good conscience 'cause they somewhat reminds you of some things which can help you be awake and realize things that bothers you. If only I can do it, I would write whatever comes into my mind as I walk to the street, see some things, normal or something that might amaze me. How I wish I really could. Or do I just wish to be with my bestfriend whom I can talk about anything to?

Right now, I'm sitting on the right edge of a blue bench where I can see a fountain on my northeast direction, a sea with some ships and boats on my left, bushes everywhere and another blue bench just few steps away facing me. Oh, and people passing by. It is 8:05 pm now, but darkness isn't eating the bright sky yet. I said I was gonna walk to Puente Colgante and sit and do this writing, but there aren't any benches on the elevated part of the passengers' waiting area, so I just kept walking until I found this somewhat quiet place where I could spend some meme time. Talk about being an introvert (Yeah, I learned that word from my bestfriend who happened to be one too). Well It's kinda cool to know or to experience the saying "I'll go wherever my feet may take me". It's just that, you walk and walk and walk until you just find yourself enjoying and contented to where you were brought to. Actually I do not know where I am right now. All I know is I still know how to go home. I think I am in Portugalete.
Puente Colgante
Before I started writing this sentence, I just finished eating the apple I brought, and having a picture of myself sitting on this bench. I got 3 attempts you know. It's not easy having a picture of yourself on a timer mode without a tripod with people passing by. It is annoying to have something between your teeth, and it sucks being weird alone. I feel like it's getting darker right now. It's already 8:37 pm, yet I don't have any intentions of going home until, let's say I feel cold or be in need of using the bathroom, or finish this. It's been 3 paragraphs and I haven't written anything interesting to read. Oh, my mon just called asking me to go home now 'cause dad might call, or it might rain.
So let me tell you what I love about the place we're currently residing at, probably some things I kinda don't like too. Okay, noun.
Person. People here are so nice. Try asking for a direction, they might even bring you to the place you're looking for! Some people would greet you though they don't know you. One weird thing is that they'll say "¡Hasta luego!" though they just met and just passed by each other. Kids and babies are adorable. While walking at the park, you might see children playing soccer and not even bothering whether or not they'd get hurt. Instead, they'd still slide to the rough floor chasing the ball. However, I find teenagers way too intimidating. Girls are so pretty and boys are so pogi. I know I'm not on the same level as theirs that's why I feel that way. Buts hands down to those who rides the skateboard, longboard, rollerblades, and scooter with tricks. Same as lovers, especially when they do PDAs. It's sweet, and gross at the same time. But I love seeing old couples who still stroll together, holding ands and everything. They always make me sing "Grow Old With You" for the sweetness that binds them. Every afternoon, the park is filled with old people, sitting on the bench, or walking around chatting with their compadres while exposing theirselve under the sun. (Yeah, they love the sun). My ninong said, the parks here in Spain are like Home for the Aged 'cause the young ones are obliged to go to school. And for the middle aged, they're probably working.
Place. This place is awesome. Especially our sitio, Santurtzi. It's a bit far from the main Bilbao, but I love how we're near to a body of water. Everything's so relaxing to look at. Nature is in the VIP section here though tall buildings are everywhere. There are lots of bars, cafes and cafeterias here, so many places to go to without getting bored from going to it everyday. There are also lots of candystores. Do the happy dance now if you're a sweet tooth. And as a new resident, there will always be a new place to discover. Regarding cleanliness, I rate it 8 out of 10. Minus 1 for some trashes left on the ground like bits of food and pipas shell. Another minus 1 for dog and bird poops everywhere! Be aware!
bars': dine out or drink out
Things. One time, my sister said that benches on the streets are so cool. Some are nostalgic then mom reminded us thta we're in Europe. Dogs are treated like part of the family here. As you can observe, almost every family here have a dog. A day won't pass without you not seeing a dog, unless you don't come out of your piso. Statues are everywhere too. Another weird but cut thing is that some statues are holding ann umbrell as their crane. No wonder why rainboots must be part of your apparel. There are stores here that sells cheap buys, but converting the price to peso, you'd rather shop in Divisoria sometimes. But at least they're comfy. Most food is sold cheap here. You can purchase a lot with just 5-10 euros, of course depending on the item you're gonna buy.
umbrella on his right hand. Oh he looks like a pirate
I confess I wrote the previous paragraph in a rush. It's 9pm already and I should get going. The fountain of ideas was turned off. Let me add some more things I would want to say more later at home. It's been a great day, a great place, a great early evening to spend some time with myself.
Aupa! I love the motorcycle.
